Golden Lyre Medicine Circle Living

Golden Lyre Medicine Circle is a one-year circle (done in four seasonal eight-week sections) in which participants will learn tools to expand consciousness and access healing, wisdom, intuition, spirit guidance, and experience the rich depths of soul and spirit.
In each section we will immerse in one of the four directions, access the healing practice associated with the direction, and explore the aspects of spirit that live there. We will receive helpful guidance and insight from the spirit reality, the "world behind the world", and we will cultivate the qualities and teachings of each direction within us, deepening our connection to our authentic natures and discovering new ways of expressing and bringing forth our unique voices and medicine into the world.

about spirit
reality: rules for interaction and navigation
Learn
how to
connect to their own intuitive wisdom voice and spirit guides
Learn
authentic modes of communication
Learn how to access
the inner reservoir of
love (self-sourced love), and practice extending love
into the external world
Have
new insight into their unique
creative voices
and use of creative potential
Have insight into aspects of destiny and fate and how the messages of the soul come through to influence the course of life.
Access
and work with four universal archetypes of the medicine wheel: the
healer, teacher, visionary, and warrior. Archetypal work will include learning about the shadow aspect of each archetype and how to be in right-relationship to it as a messenger of an unclaimed gift and blessing.
Receive healing and transformation through "doing the work"
Have
insight into the nature of non-verbal experiential knowing, wisdom
Practice
accessing the dimension of the magnetic/lunar power through sound and movement
Gain greater
understanding as to the nature of their own unique medicine
Have a
greater understanding of beauty as soul-fullness
Release
limiting beliefs and restrictions from
the past, creating a new context for the present and past so that the
future can be freely re-visioned
*The nature of this work is transformative and is therefore likely to bring up personal issues for participants. Class is not designed to directly provide personal healing work as we will be working in a group context, though healing processes can certainly occur as a result of doing the work. Each participant is responsible for having a support system for personal work outside of class if needed. For each participant Melissa will assess whether the circle is a appropriate medium of work at this time, or if more personal work is needed before doing the circle intensive. Melissa is available for private mentorship or healing work sessions outside of circle for those who want or need more personal support either instead of or in addition to class.*
Melissa
draws from a background in shamanism, ancient mystery practices, energy
medicine, and neurobiology. She believes in bridging ancient practice
with modern science and perspectives, as both scientists and mystics are
seeking the same thing: an understanding of and exploration of this
world.
